There are a few different ways you can make a simple homemade all-purpose cleaning spray. The biggest difference between them is what you choose as your primary cleaning ingredient.  There are all sorts of All-purpose cleaner recipes out there that use everything from Borax to castle soap.  However I find that more often than not a simple vinegar and water solution is more than up to the task!  It seems like there are almost endless uses for vinegar around the home. Here’s how to use vinegar to make a handy dandy diy all-purpose cleaner!  This all-purpose cleaner works great for tackling all sorts of jobs from kitchen cleaning, to bathrooms, and pet messes.

I decided to try and make my own homemade dishwasher detergent for a couple of reasons.  The first of which is that old saying, “You are what you eat.”  A lot of dishwasher soap is loaded with chemicals I don’t think anyone would willingly want to eat.  I don’t like the idea of little bits of chemicals being left on my dishes for me too eat.  So with that kind of gross thought in mind I decided it was time for me to try and make my own dishwasher detergent.
